The Story
Wonki Ware is a unique range of dinnerware and platters from South Africa. Handmade by local artisans, moving through at least 14 pairs of hands from start to finish, giving it a truly organic feel.
Each piece is entirely handmade meaning the shape is hand-thrown, thus a little wonky! Every piece is hand-pressed with lace that is entirely random, resulting in a one-of-a-kind collector’s-style item. Dishwasher and microwave safe; chip resistant.
Things to Note: As each piece is one of a kind, our objects might look a bit different from the pictures on our website.
All sales are final, but don't worry, if anything gets damaged during shipping, we offer a refund or replacement. Most of our pieces have many stories to tell and wear their patinas and aged look with pride. If you have something specific in mind, you can visit our brick-and-mortar, or we can schedule a virtual shop.
