The Story

These benches were originally used as schoolhouse benches for children in rural China. A classic piece for use today in an entryway, behind a couch, at the foot of a bed or outside on a patio or balcony.

Expect imperfections in keeping with age and use such as pegholes, repairs and a few knicks. Expect variations in wood color and grain.

Things to Note: As each piece is one of a kind, our objects might look a bit different from the pictures on our website.

All sales are final, but don't worry, if anything gets damaged during shipping, we offer a refund or replacement. Most of our pieces have many stories to tell and wear their patinas and aged look with pride. If you have something specific in mind, you can visit our brick-and-mortar, or we can schedule a virtual shop.
